In 2016, I did some concept artwork for the movie 《The Wandering Earth》. They are ”Security tunnel“, ”A monument to the wandering earth project“, “Space station mahjong table”.
The concept of playing mahjong on the space station was not adopted in the film, which was a pity. When I drew it, I thought the scene would be interesting😫
It is the first true hard science fiction film in the history of Chinese cinema. Although it still has a lot of loopholes and easy places to make people laugh, it is a good start, and we hope there will be more and more films of this type in the future.
If you haven't seen the movie, it's already available on netflix😄
